The Onam season has once again come alive with the message of peace and harmony. Our Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Onam on August 25th, before the school closed for ten days of Onam vacation. It was wonderful to see the young butterflies singing and dancing in traditional Kerala dress. The function was indeed made colourful with the arrival of Mahabali, and traditional Kerala items such as Pulikali, Thiruvathirakali, enchanting Pookkalam, etc. On the same day, there was Onasadya for the students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school. Our Social Club members also visited Government Hospital and served Onasadya to the bystanders of the patients.
