Amrita School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies proudly presented Amrita Leap programme themed Education for Life, with two-day workshop sessions for the students of Amrita Vidyalayam Thalassery as part of Amrita University’s outreach programme activities. Amrita Leap programmes aim to fill the gap in the current education system by providing life education to students across India.
The children learned Life Skill games, managing the mind along with focus, memory and habit building as key aspects, and the glory of India. They were also given awareness about drug abuse, cyber and gadget threats, the act of bullying, and corruption.
The Trainers were:
- Shri Sumesh – Asst. Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita University
- Shri Vivek Vijayan – Computer Engineer, Yoga Trainer and a faculty of Youth Empowerment, Amrita University
- Shri Arjun Rajeev – Life Skill Trainer, Amrita Leap Program and Student Counsellor I in AYUDH
- Ms. Anjali – Life Skill Trainer, Amrita University, Amritapuri focusing on value-based education and personality development training for students all over India.
