IEEE and Ammachi Labs, Amrita University jointly conducted a two-day STEAM for Social Good Makeathon on September 17 th and 18 th in a grand way at Amrita Vidyalayam Kochi. Swami Poornamritananda Puri and Dr. Vishal Marwaha, Principal of Amrita School of Medicine were present along with Dr C.M. Varughese, Dr M.V. Rajesh and Prof. Maya Menon from IEEE
Education Society Kerala Section for the concluding ceremony.
10 student teams participated in the Makeathon and 4 teams were declared as winners. The winning team received a cash award of Rs 5000 each. The Amrita Vidyalayam Thalassery Team “TITANS” comprising of Shreya, Shree Parvathy, Yuval, Aagney and Vasudev is one of the top winning teams with a high score.
